French Girls Had Kept This Brand To Themselves... Until Now

Le chat is out of le bag.

We’ve opened the floodgates and now we just can’t stop telling you our biggest online shopping secrets. Sézane is one of them. It became the first ever e-tailer in France when it opened its, well, website back in 2008 selling the exclusive vintage finds of founder Morgane Sézalory. By 2013 she began to design her own label, which has since become a staple among contemporary French fashion lovers.

At present, there is only one bricks-and-mortar address in the world where you can immerse yourself in Sézane – it’s located conveniently on the same street as the Wheretoget office in Paris (both a blessing and a curse). For everybody else, the blogger’s best friend does international shipping… until next year, that is. Business Of Fashion reported earlier this week that the company has plans to open two more showrooms in, where else, London and New York by 2017.

That gives you just a couple of months to get well acquainted with the brand’s understated Parisian staples, from the perfect ankle-grazing jeans to flawlessly cut silk shirts and cotton dresses all in a classic palette of nudes and blues with the occasional stripe for levity. The seasonal and limited edition collections sell out almost instantly, which is no surprise given the combination of beautifully designed pieces in the highest quality fabrics for reasonable prices.

It’s such a cool-girl brand that even the catalogue images look like they’ve been lifted straight from a fashion blog. Here are some of our favorite pieces from the current collection to get your hands on before it's too late.
