Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is goals for so many reasons. The actress has been a vocal champion for feminist values, can spit Nicki Minaj like a boss, plus she has killer style instincts. Oh yeah, and she’s 12. Jealous yet?
Brown has already captivated the fashion set with her sartorial choices on multiple occasions: remember when she rolled up to the front row of Coach's SS17 fashion show with Winona Ryder like it wasn't even a big deal. Or how about that time she posed on a balcony with Nicolas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton's Instagram page this summer?
Well, yesterday she caused another minor tremor in the fashion world by making an appearance, this time in Calvin Klein’s deliciously enigmatic Instagram post. The brand announced the actress’s involvement in the new Calvin Klein by Appointment campaign. The photo features Brown in a top with beaded, red and yellow tassels with her signature gaze and a caption that reads, “a cast of distinct individuals brings the idea to life: strength of character is key”.
We can’t wait to see what happens when CK’s chief creative officer, Raf Simmons, brings Brown into his vision for made-to-measure clothing. Brown’s style has always felt elegant and age-appropriate; quirky but not infantilizing. It’s refreshing to see a young girl who can go from menswear to ‘60s frock with ease – think Kate-Spade- meets-Rodarte-meets-baby-Winona-Rider.
