If Meghan Markle wasn't already in the spotlight, she sure is now. Just yesterday morning it was confirmed by Kensington Palace that the Suits star is, in fact, dating Prince Harry (unlike the girls from I Wanna Marry Harry).
There has been a lot of speculation over the past few weeks after the young royal was spotted in Toronto, the city the American actress currently calls home. The press release issued on November 8th by the Communications Secretary mentions the wrongful harassment and abuse of Markle who has appeared on the front page of newspapers and has been the subject of false, invasive stories and rumors. The Communications Secretary said this was a "line crossed" and we totally agree. The release also declares Markle as Prince Harry's "girlfriend," which is accurate, but we see the Suits star as an interesting lady in her own right whose story (and fashion sense) deserves some exploring.
Born in Los Angeles, Markle is the daughter of a yoga therapist and an Emmy-award winning photographer. She began acting at a young age and, since then, the 35-year-old has starred in a wide range of television shows including General Hospital, 9010, Fringe, CSI: New York, and Castle. Her big break came in 2011 when she was cast as a paralegal named Rachel Zane in the hit USA series Suits. Though we're often drooling over Zane's work outfits onscreen, we've recently discovered that Markel's offscreen style is just as gorgeous.
